The DJI Innovations S1000 is a Remotely Piloted Aircraft which weighs around 7 kg, has eight 400 rpm motors and remains airborne for 16-18 minutes on a single battery. The retractable landing gear raises after each takeoff to provide clear and unobstructed 360 degree views to the camera and gimbal system.

This RPA is set up as a dual-operator system, which means there’s one controller for the aircraft, one for the camera. This type of set up enables us to significantly reduce the time it takes to get precise shots. All eight arms and propellers fold away, saving valuable time when performing pre-flight procedures and minimising the aircraft’s size for transportation.

The on-board A2 Autopilot features include Cruise Control, Auto-Takeoff and Landing, Waypoint and Point-of-Interest flying, and advanced fail-safe functions like Return-to-Home and Motor-Fail Protection.
