Featuring a strong yet lightweight magnesium frame and three shooting modes, the Ronin-M is a handheld 3-axis gimbal suitable for use in almost any filming environment.
In addition to handheld shooting, this gimbal can be vehicle mounted or used in a variety of scenarios where vibrations or other abrupt movements make tripods and rigid camera support systems unsuitable.
The Ronin-M supports dual-operator filming like our DJI S1000 aircraft, where a second operator controls the camera’s movements as the first operator moves around the set. This remote operator configuration is also effective when the gimbal is mounted on a traditional jib, crane, or tripod.
The Ronin-M is suitable for most camera types and systems up to 4 kg. Our gimbal is equipped with a DSLR camera which records up to 4K UHD – the Panasonic Lumix GH4. We can also configure the gimbal for almost any other camera via the Assistant Software.
